ʿAmmīṣadaq bin Ḥamīʿathat Dhū-Yāfiʿān and Saʿd bin ʿAlag Dhū-Ḍafgān, the two kabīrs of Maṣarān and Maʿīn Maṣarān-those who conducted a caravan and traded with them in Egypt and Assyria and ʿAbar-Nahrēn during the kabīrate of … …m Dhū-Radaʿ in the first part of his kabīrate-have dedicated and built and offered to ʿAthtar Dhū-Qabḍim the curtain-wall of Tanʿim: the façade decorated with wood and stone, from the foundations to the top, and its back wall with stone, the entire curtain-wall between the two towers of Ẓāribān and Labūʾān; this with the taxes and the obligatory payments which ʿAth-

And ʿAthtar Dhū-Qabḍ was pleased and satisfied, on account of the tribute and obligatory payments, with the construction of the curtain-wall, as seen when ʿAthtar Dhū-Qabḍim and Waddum and Nakraḥum and their command protected them and their property from the attacks which Sabaʾ and Khawlān made on them and their property and their livestock on the road between Maʿīn and Ragmatum, and from the war that took place between the southern region and the northern region; and when ʿAthtar Dhū-Qabḍim and Waddum and Nakraḥum protected them and their property in the middle of Egypt during
